Alright! I've seen that many people have been debating Mangle's gender. It's been a topic that has been a mystery for years. So, yeah. I guess it's finally time to break the silence. I've seen Scott's announcement about its gender, and he said:
OK. People have been asking me about Mangle's gender for almost about a year now, and I think it's time that I finally answer the burning question about whether Mangle is a boy or a girl, so that this community can finally put the matter behind them. The answer is—yes.
What Scott means by "yes" is that Mangle definitely does have a gender, but it's been contested. Personally, I believe Mangle is a boy, due to some theories on the Internet. I mean, some think it's female because of the Splinks model, the pink, the makeup, and also partly due to the song "The Mangle" by Groundbreaking (Mangle's part is sung by Nicole Gene). Here's why I think it's a boy:
  1. Red cheeks: The male toys have red cheeks. Unlike Funtime Foxy in FNaF SL (which has pink cheeks), Mangle has red ones, too.
  2. Foxy's incarnation: Since Mangle is the toy counterpart of Foxy, it's sure to be a male (since Foxy is a male)
  3. Eyelashes: Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, and Toy Chica all have them. Mangle has too, but Toy Bonnie's ones are longer than those of Mangle's.
  4. Stature: I've seen the full-body model of Toy Foxy made by Redeye. It looked like it (or rather, "he) had a masculine stature instead of the curvy body of the model made by Splinks.
  5. Bowtie: It's red! Funtime Foxy in FNaF World has a red bowtie, which complements the red cheeks.
  6. It's OK to like pink: Although pink is a girl color, I guess some boys like pink. It's definitely OK to be different, I know.
  7. Ladies' Night: Yes, I get the meaning of that. Sometimes boys attend these nights. Doesn't mean that if it's ladies night, it's only allowed for girls. Girls get a special discount.
So I guess the silence is broken. Mangle is male.

What about Spring Bonnie? Actually, Scott also broke the silence on this one, too.
Hi everybody, it's me! I'm here to answer two questions that have been debated for a while now. Mangle and Spring Bonnie's gender! Now, ever since I posted Spring Bonnie in the FNaF World image, people thought it was Toy Spring Bonnie. But I will confirm, Spring Bonnie along with Mangle is indeed female.
Well, I guess Scott broke the silence on Mangle's gender, but I disagree. With Spring Bonnie, I'm confused. Springtrap is MALE? I don't get it. Well, I really don't get why both Springtrap and Spring Bonnie have opposing genders. Why? Why? WHY? I guess I believe that Spring Bonnie is actually a male. The fandom says that Spring Bonnie is female (as confirmed by Scott) and that when the Purple Guy entered the suit, Springtrap has been declared a male. But, still, I consider Spring Bonnie a guy.

What about Funtime Foxy? Well, there are several pieces of evidence here on why its gender is debated. In the game, the HandUnit describes it as a female thrice, and then here comes YouTube—the Angsty Teen describes it as a male once. But, in Custom Night, the instructions state in Girls' Night that it will emerge from "his curtain". So what? I guess it's a girl, but Scott has been trolling us. So here's why:
  1. Pink: Unlike Mangle, Funtime Foxy has pink cheeks, which the girls have.
  2. HandUnit: Just like I mentioned, HandUnit has mentioned that it's a girl for three times.
Yep. That's it for gender debating.
